The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), the American Commercial Space Weather Association (ACSWA) and the Utah State University Space Weather Center are pleased to announce the 2nd Annual Space Weather Community Operations Workshop March 22-23 in Park City, Utah.

Following the massive 7.2 magnitude earthquake that hit eastern Turkey, the Space Weather Center is providing Emergency HF Communication data to help in search and rescue efforts and recovery efforts.

The Space Weather Center is actively working to help with emergency high frequency communications for relief of Hurricane Irene, the storm that is now bearing down on the eastern coast of the United States. Click to read.

A summary of the purpose and proceedings of the first ever Space Weather Community Operations Workshop has been published in the American Geophysical Union's Space Weather Journal.

USU USTAR Space Weather Center maps were used during Japan relief efforts. Director of the Space Weather Center, W. Kent Tobiska, explains the radio communications and navigation programs developed on the Logan campus.

A new organization, the American Commercial Space Weather Association (ACSWA) has been formed to represent commercial space weather groups and to foster collaboration and communication between various organizations. ACSWA was officially formed at the Space Weather Workshop in Boulder, Co.
